A graduate of University of Kentucky, Mashburn was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks where he would spend the first four years of his career. He was named to the All Rookie First Team in 1994. In the 1994 1995 season, Mashburn averaged 24. 1 points per game and became the fourth youngest player to ever score 50 points in a game. Mashburn was later traded to the Miami Heat, and
