There is a background touch of post bottling reduction that doesnt entirely mask the red berry aromas though it does blur the nuances. More interesting are the markedly more concentrated medium bodied flavors that culminate in a tension filled finish that isnt exactly lean though it would be fair to observe that neither is it seductive. As the description suggests, this is somewhat awkward and I suspect that the recent bottling
