From the same region of Japan that brought us H. montana 'Cho Ko Nishiki', comes a selection with brilliant golden leaves, surrounded by a narrow dark green border. H. 'Kinkaku' will eventually make a spectacular 3' wide clump, topped in summer by 4' spikes of light lavender flowers.
