Christian Moueix, Ulysses Vintage:2017 It was vinified in variousOakville fruit but Napa Valley on the label. Fresh picked berries and bramble on the nose become focused and spiced on the palate. Nice herbal and earth notes with rocky minerality across the full length of the palate. The open fruit expression of the nose creates the expectation of a bigger wine to follow but it is classical with good restraint and an impressive sense of precision in the mouth. Beautifully done.
