Both pieces are decorated with hand decorated floral inspired motifs in red, green and dark brown tones, giving the set a distinctly bohemian late 1960s to 1970s aesthetic. I believe that the design was applied using a combination of pyrography and dye. The skirt is signed at the bottom with Pier
