This is a vintage 1950s windbreaker or sailing jacket dating to the late 1950s or very early 1960s

The “jacket” is gathered in pleats at the upper bodice and extends below the waistline and flays out with two large applied square pockets at either side of the hips

The coat has a 17 1/2” single back vent/kick pleat
