Paeonia tenuifolia Cystopteris The wide greenPaeonia tenuifolia, which hails from the Caucasus Mountains, is one of the most coveted of the paeonia species, due to its incredibly narrow, fennel textured foliage. It's also one of the earliest species to flower with small, single, bright red flowers. For us, it goes dormant by mid summer.
