The music landscape had changed a lot since the Stones started 16 years beforehand. Disco was on the rise, punk was tearing everything down, and good ole classic rock n roll was no longer at the forefront of conversation. But when the Stones put out Some Girls, things seemed to change around a little bit. The record went to #1 in the States and #2 in the UK and has since been
