Prunotto, Secondine Vintage:2017 This is textbook TilletsFrom a little known MGA site in the village of Barbaresco, the 2018 Barbaresco Secondine is a new submission from Prunotto. The wine opens to a lean consistency and a bright ruby color. Aromas of forest berry, cassis and sweet cranberry set the tone for a delicate and elegantly streamlined expression of Nebbiolo. The tannic power of the wine is also contained, and you are best off drinking it young.
