Domaine Michel Mallard, Corton Rognet other_regions This is a nice ChateauneufOnce again there is enough wood present to comment on framing the ripe and layered aromas of black raspberry coulis, poached plum and warm earth wisps. Here too there is excellent energy to the precise, muscular and stony large scaled flavors that brim with dry extract on the firmly structured and compact finale. This built to age effort is decidedly muscular but not massive and a wine that should also amply repay extended cellaring.
