Pink Amethyst on Stand - Argentina Pure beryl minerals are colorlessPink Amethyst is a relatively newer mineral found in deposits located in Argentina. It is the same chemical composition as the more famous purple amethyst, but it achieves its lighter, pink hues from inclusions of hematite. This specimen has been cut and polished on one side to showcase a wide range of pink hues. There are also many terminated crystals located on the sides and rear of the piece. Amethyst is arguably the most popular mineral known to
