The Sex Pistols had broken up the previous year and people were already claiming that punk had burned out and died. The Exploited set out to prove everyone wrong. Not online was punk not died, it was thriving. In fact, their first album, which was released in 1981 on Secret Records, was simply called Punk's Not Dead. And ever since then, they've been living by that motto. They
